Our Impact: See the Difference
Food Security Ontario is just getting started, but the vision is clear: a province where no one goes without access to fresh, healthy food. We’ve launched our grassroots food co-op model right here in Ajax and the Durham Region, and the early response from the community has been incredible.
While we’re still in the early stages, momentum is building. We’ve connected with local farms, partnered with community hubs, and begun assembling a dedicated team of volunteers. Every conversation, every box being prepared, and every new connection is a step toward our mission.
Our approach focuses on direct delivery, customizable food options, and community-first solutions. As we roll out our first rounds of deliveries, we’re already seeing what’s possible when people come together to tackle food insecurity head-on.
